Rafał Drewniany is one of those special people who works behind the scenes, quietly and tirelessly, making sure everything he records is flawless and crystal clear. Anyone who has ever worked with Rafal knows that they are lucky to have him and are going to get the best recording possible of their music by means of his first-rate engineering skills.

Rafal Drewniany I met year 2009 in Krakow for the first time. He is very nice person and as recording and sound engineer he is very calm and relaxed. You almost don't notis him when place microphones and change equipment on stage or even behind the mixer board. Like a dream for a drummer with a lot of gear and cymbal stands. And then you have a result of a recording like I got the other day - Gush 30 – Kraków 2018 (Not Two records MW1020): I was blown away by the sound of the CD. I didn't expect it would sound that good. Thank you Rafal!

We have known Rafal Drewniany for many years through our great friend and supporter of the music, Marek Winiarski. On countless occasions Rafal has recorded our concerts in the Alchemia Club and also the big band events in the Manggha hall and Krakow Radio Studio. All of these recordings were released as live events on CD and we are extremely impressed with the way Rafal managed to mix and master all these sessions. It was not always easy to catch so many different small ensembles in a live situation. But Rafal managed it with his amazing calm and super efficient way of setting the microphones and getting the best sound possible for every situation. He will always be our first choice and has also become a very good friend. We look very much forward to our next projects together in 2024.

I've known Rafał Drewniany for many, many years. he has been the recording engineer for some of my most important music projects including major residencies with the large groups, the Resonance Ensemble and Entr'acte, which involved dozens of performance by small configurations as well as the full bands of nearly a dozen musicians. Rafał's ability to document the artists' work, not only accurately recording the sound of the instruments but also the musicians actual "creative presence" is absolutely remarkable. In addition, his technical mastery means that, whenever and wherever he records, everything runs smoothly. He is essentially "invisible," letting the artists focus 100% on their performances. I always look forward to meeting Rafał and to collaborating with him- he's one of the best recording engineers I've ever worked with.
